I have been involved with amateur dramatics for many years playing with several different groups in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall in the West of England. Since 1980 I have been working with the Taunton Thespians and have played in well over fifty productions.
Some of my more memorable characterisations have been as Joe Gargery in Charles Dickens “Great Expectations” . Colin in “Absent Friends” by Alan Ayckbourn. The Tin Man in “The Wizard of Oz”.
I have played in three productions of “The Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, once as Joe, the rag & bone man, once as Jacob Marley and on the third occasion as Ghost of Christmas Past as well as Bob Cratchett.
